Dear participants!
The 4th Tavria V Odesa Half Marathon 2019 will include a relay race:
Under Armour Relay – 3×5 km + 1×6.0975 km
A team of four people will take place in the relay. Three athletes run 5 km and the fourth participant runs 6.0975 km.
Each team gets ONE result capturing electronic chip. The chip is attached to the participant’s leg and is transferred at relay transfer stations.
Advice: to save the time, we recommend that the participant waiting at the relay transfer station takes the chip off the leg of the arriving participant, attaches it to his/her leg and starts his/her own stage. The chip is included in the starter’s package (one per team) that will be distributed at Sport Fest UA 2019 or you can order package delivery.
Relay race will start at 08:00 a.m. along with the individual race of 21.0975 km.
Relay transfer stations are located at the 5 km, 10 km and 15 km for participants of the 3х5 km + 1х6.0975 km relay.
Buses with participants of the 3rd and 4th relay stages will leave at 7:30 a.m. from 6 Lanzheronivska street (Odesa Navy Museum).
PLEASE, NOTICE! Participants of the 2nd stage of 3*5 km + 1*6.0975 km will walk to the relay transfer station with a guide. The group will leave at 7:30 a.m. from 6 Lanzheronivska street (Odesa Navy Museum).
Important:
- The first participant starts the race with the chip attached to the leg;
- Team members are not allowed to change numbers;
- Team members participate in the relay in the order stated at registration;
- The set of finisher’s medals are presented to the participant of the 4th stage upon successfully crossing the finish line.
